Com-Raid has done a exclusive collaboration tee for Concepts, Boston with Edo G on an adidas inspired signature rectangle design. This is to pay tribute to Boston Hip Hop legend - Edo G.
“I decided to roll with someone that is legendary in terms of Boston hip-hop… nah, fuck that, hip-hop in general, Edo G. Edo G. dropped his first album in 1991 called Life of a Kid in the Ghetto, when he was still ED O.G. and rolled with the Bulldogs. You remember the joints “I Got to Have it†, “Be A Father To Your Child†and “Bug-A-Boo†(which Destiny’s Child went on to later steal).
As a kid, seeing someone that was where I was from on YO! MTV Raps was so inspiring. He represented for us and now we represent for him. Ed is now a member of the Boston hip-hop group Special Teamz that has recently signed with Duck Down Records (home of Boot Camp Click) which includes Slaine from La Coka Nostra.”
