For adidas’ second season of Originals By Originals, Kazuki Kuraishi and Jeremy Scott return for another round of unique designs, whilst American streetwear brand Undefeated co-founder James Bond collaborates with football superstar David Beckham on a new collection.

Today, we’re taking a closer look at the upcoming apparel for the Kazuki line, which builds upon the current season’s focus on technical-yet-wearable streetwear. Japanese label Neighborhood also have a hand in the design, so their familiar skull ‘n’ crossbones logo – which has been given a trefoil-ized makeover – is featured on many of the products.

This new collection offers a touch more “colour”, which can be seen by the numerous uses of polka dot, zebra, safari and other eye-catching patterns. It’s a pity that we live in a tropical climate, as the jackets this season are really nice, with particular attention to the Peacoat Waterproof, Seamless Nylon Jacket and Seamless Mod’s Coat.

However, an item that could come in handy during a light drizzle is the Waterproof Flannel Shirt. And if everything’s just a bit too heavy for casualwear, then there’s still stuff like the cycling team inspired sweat shirt as well as the sure-to-be-hot-seller plain logo tee, which features the modified Neighborhood logo very prominently on the front.

The adidas Originals by Originals Fall/Winter ‘09 collection by Kazuki will be launched at select retailers from August 1st and at select adidas Originals worldwide on October 1st.
