By combining art with fashion, Reebok has introduced the Affili’Art series, fusing artworks from the likes of John Maeda and Rolland Berry into Reebok Classics. For Fall/Winter ‘09, Reebok will be releasing the latest collection featuring works from African-American artist, Jean-Michel Basquiat.
Using famous pieces like the “untitled(Crown)” and “Sugar Ray Robinson”, Reebok has transferred them onto some classic silhouettes like the Ex-O-Fit Plus Hi, Freestyles and the Classic Leather Lux. While each pair carries the unique characteristics of Basquiat’s painting, the whole pack comes in exclusive details like premium leather, satin linings, as well as Basquiat’s signature Crown and tag.
