Fans of Kobe can catch the NBA superstar on his visit to Singapore on the 22nd July (Wednesday). The one-day visit will be the second stop on Kobe’s Nike sponsored 2009 Asia Tour, which seeks to inspire young ballers in the region to continue aspiring for their big hoop dreams. The tour will touch six cities in Asia – Manila, Singapore, Taipei, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Chengdu.
Here’s an updated schedule of his visit:
- 3:00pm – Interaction session with 50 elite young athletes from the Singapore Sports School and the Asian Youth Games contingent at the Ritz Carlton Hotel (By Invitation Only)
- 5:30pm – Kobe will unveil the Nike Dream Season, a part of his signature collection, at the Nike flagship store at Wisma Atria at and present the Singapore Youth Basketball Team with Nike’s specially designed training attire.
- 7:30pm – Coaching Clinic for Youth at Singapore Indoor Stadium (see below for tickets)
Tickets (free of charge) for Kobe’s Coaching Clinic will be made available in the following ways:
- 16th Jul: The first 1000 fans who arrive at the Nike Flagship store at Wisma Atria will receive a pair of tickets each, to be distributed on a first-come-first-serve basis. Early birds will be entitled to a total of 200 pairs of front row tickets.
- 17 to 19th Jul: Tickets will be made available at all SISTIC outlets island wide and distributed whilst it lasts.
