Lacoste’s add yet another velcro-strap model to its Fall/Winter ‘09 footwear rangeĀ yet with the Cavaillon UE. Inspired by traditional clay tennis court-shoe design, the Cavaillon pays homage to the home of French Open, the Roland Garros in which brand founder Rene Lacoste bagged three championships.
In tribute, the shoe sports a dirt-red coloured sole as well as navy coloured stripe above the mid-soles, referencing the French tri-colour flag. The kicks are topped off with a mixture of premium leathers and is available in both white/navy and black/dirt-red colourways.
The Lacoste Cavaillon UE is now available at select Lacoste footwear stockists across South East Asia.

Lacoste footwear has never been very stylish and I think that these strapped shoes kind of look like a kid’s shoe because there are no laces and multiple straps for those who never learned how to properly tie laces.
