In celebration of their 100th anniversary, Converse has invited 100 artists from all around the globe to launch the Converse 1HUND(RED) project as part of the (PRODUCT) RED cause to help fight off AIDS in Africa. Here’s a look at what US streetwear label Huf has cooked up for the project.
The Huf version of the Converse Skidgrip Hi sports a black canvas upper in full ‘H’ monogram print and embroidered skull details throughout the white inner-lining. The kicks are finished off with a Huf label on the heel, as well as red eyelets to represent the fight against AIDS. They’re set for a worldwide drop on October 3rd, 2009.
The Huf x Converse 1HUND(RED) Skidgrip Hi is now available for pre-order at Black Chamber, priced at SGD 180. Black Chamber Concept Corners are located at #02-16, Pacific Plaza, Singapore; and #04-30, Far East Plaza, Singapore.
