Today, at Limited Edt’s Vault and Queensway stores, the beast has been unleashed – the Nike Air Force One “Savage Beast” that is! The kicks sport a fairly subdued colourway, made up of brown and beige, but the thing that really brings this animal alive is the synthetic pony hair used all over the kicks.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen pony/horse hair on sneakers, and it’s far from the last, but it is the first time we’ve seen it being used in a complete single tone all the way right down to the midsoles. The texture it gives off is superb, making it one of the more interesting AF1s that we’ve seen in quite some time – just make sure to keep ‘em out of the rain!
