Hello Kitty, one of Japan’s most popular icons of cutesy-kitsch, has finally hit 35. To celebrate her anniversary, creators Sanrio will be having a special event called ‘The Kitty Lab’ at the Singapore Expo Hall next month. The exhibition will play host to a load of activities as well as offer exclusive limited edition merchandise for purchase. Yes, this will be revenge for all those streetwear events you forced your girl to accompany you to, but deep down you know you want to check it out for yourself …
