The New Balance 769 performance running trainer is an unlikely candidate for a skittle-coloured makeover, but nonetheless they’re here and are just raring to brighten up the most mundane of running paths. There is a colour story for each shoe in the collection: the MR769 RA ‘Rainbow’ symbolizes the light of the earth; the mean looking MR769 BC embodies the CMYK primary colours that are cyan, magenta, yellow and black; whilst the fiery red and yellow MR769 RY take inspiration from the flames, one of the four elements that govern all matter in ancient Greek science and philosophy.

Underneath all the colour though, lies one of New Balance’s most performance orientated shoes. The 769s feature a whole host of propriety technology such as the ABZORB Dynamic Transition System, Acteva Lite Midsole, N-Lock, Phantom Liner and Sure Lace. Long story short, it’s a trainer built for high performance runners that offers a superior fit and optimal shock absorbing cushioning.
