Boston based sneaker store Concepts have joined forces again with New Balance to collaborate on a pack of kicks. The theme and design of the collection is a homage to Boston’s rich history, as both New Balance’s and Concept’s HQs are located there. Inspiration is taken from Boston’s ‘Freedom Trail’, a four kilometre red brick walk which leads to 16 historical sites in the city, as well as the brown bricks of the city’s antiquated North End neighbourhood.
The collection will see the debut of the 875 boot model as well as a remake on the classic 1500 runner. They both feature premium full-grain leather uppers along with soft pigskin lining on the inside and an embossed tongue label. They also come with brown and cream coloured laces. They will be available very soon at select New Balance stockists.
The Concepts x New Balance ‘Freedom Trail’ Collection will be available in limited quantities from November 27th at: Leftfoot stores in Singapore, click here for store details; Limited Edt Vault, #03-12, The Heeren, Singapore, T +65 6836 9095; and Sole What?, Lot S-229A, The Gardens, Kuala Lumpur, T +603 2287 5811.
