Earth & Sky, Ryo The 
Collaborations with Japanese Reggae artists isn’t new to Nike. Nike have worked with the likes of Mighty Crown and Minmi last year. Releasing a couple of Court Forces and an Air Force 1 which garnered a lot of attention. To up the ante this year, Nike has worked together with the famous Japanese Dancehall Reggae star, Ryo The Skywalker, dropping two awesome pair of kicks, a Court Force Hi and Low.
Two different themes have been used on them. For the Court Force Hi, an Earth theme is adopted. An earthy tone colourway is used on it and a very distinctive leaf-print is applied on the upper heel of the shoe. A variant of top quality leather material is used on this shoe, like embossed leather on the lower heel of the shoe. We assume this pair represents Bush Hunter Music, Ryo’s very own music label because of it’s “BHM” initials etched on the lace lock and the logo used on the key chain tag.
The Court Force Low carries a Sky theme in a very “bluey” colourway which combines a variety of materials like embossed and patent leather. The white leather part has almost-like quilted details while the blue part is embossed with a glossy finish. The most obvious has got to be the cloud-like details, wrapped around the upper heel of the shoe. Ryo the Skywalker represents this pair with initials “RSW” lasered on the lace lock and key chain tag.
