Yesterday, cult Japanese streetwear label A Bathing Ape finally opened the doors of their Singapore store for business, and waiting was a long queue of 70+ Bape fans – business as usual we guess. In what has been a long time coming, Bape Store Singapore is the first official Bathing Ape shop in South East Asia, and they’ve landed in full force with a huge 2000 square feet of retail space.
The design isn’t as flashy as some of the other Bape Stores, but impressive nonetheless. The attention to detail is superb, from the pulsing neon lights to the embossed leather couches, it is very apparent that a lot of effort has gone into giving the store its own unique identity.
