Nike has been known to release Chinese Zodiac related products prior to Chinese New Year for the growing Chinese market globally. This year marks the Year of the Rat and Nike has chosen the Wildwood 90 Free Trail Premium as the core shoes in celebrating this Chinese Zodiac Year. This Hybrid fuses the Wildwood, Air Max 90 and the Free Trail. Each comes with a mixture of lasered leather, mesh and actual hair (we do not want to know actually).
The Chinese character for the Year of the Rat is visible at the heel and on the insole. This Wildwood 90 Free Trail Premium comes in two colourway – White/Red and Grey/Red which resemble the white rat and the grey rat.
Along with the shoes, Nike also offers a matching Year of The Rat Nike Hoody with an all over print of the word Rat in Chinese é¼ and Chinese Drawing inspired graphic.
