Reebok launches two new state-of the-art technologies – SmoothFit and HexRide. SmoothFit will be featured in both performance and lifestyle footwear and performance apparel across several categories. HexRide will be featured in performance running footwear. To globally authenticate these two revolutionary technologies, Reebok will launch a new brand campaign in 2008 titled “Your Move†which enable their consumers to choose their own move in the brand.
In an industry first, Reebok will debut SmoothFit technology in performance and lifestyle footwear simultaneously. Reebok’s SmoothFit footwear features a fit with virtually zero potential irritation inside a light, flexible, streamlined upper. Available in lifestyle footwear such as the Classic Leather Slim Smooth. All SmoothFit footwear features seams that are either eliminated or sealed both inside and outside the upper.
Reebok’s HexRide running footwear collection features a hexagonal, honeycomb-style build which is the top strength to weight ratio aeronautical engineering can offer. Providing consumers with the best of both worlds, HexRide technology features exceptional cushioning while still providing a lightweight ride. HexRide technology will be featured in performance running styles such as the SmoothFit HexRide and HexRide Rally.
