Building on this excitement, New Balance will also launch the 576 20th Anniversary “Past, Present, Future” Series in March, 2008. This exciting series uses the concept of a time capsule to honor the timeless style and popularity of New Balance 576 shoes. Entitled the “Past, Present, Future” Series, the “Past” includes two styles of Made-in-England 576 heritage craftsmanship from the mid-1980s, the “Present” features three styles of contemporary patterned design with 3M reflective materials, while the “Future” is available in three styles featuring a futuristic design and today’s best New Balance cushioning technology ABZORB®-FL (full length). In this way, the series charts the technological evolution of the 576, from the cutting-edge sole units of the 1980s through to today’s advanced cushioning systems, such as ENCAP® and ABZORB®-FL.
