Finally…
Nike Malaysia’s BE TRUE campaign kicked off at Sole What? with a bang, as Dave White flew all the way from the UK to produce some artworks and mingle with fans.
Dave arrived last week and worked on a handful of pieces, but what is the point of bringing him over if he doesn’t put on one of his famed live art installations? The man didn’t disappoint. Those in attendance got to witness the wide range of techniques he uses to create his distinctive style of texture and layers.
There was a ‘Design Your Dunk’ contest, where participants had to break out their colouring book skills to impress Dave and win a BE TRUE locker/dunk set.
Vandal, you know we love you… but you really think you gonna win with that?
“It reminds me of blackcurrant liquorice, something that you can’t really find anymore” - Dave comments on his choice.
