Converse will pay tribute to the late Nirvana frontman, Kurt Cobain, by releasing a series of Chucks, One Stars and Jack Purcells. One of the 90’s most prominent icons, Cobain’s footwear of choice was Converse - right up to the moment of his much documented suicide. The upcoming pack features vintage treatment and works from his personal notebooks printed on the uppers.
Although the collaboration is officially sanctioned by Cobain’s widow, Courtney Love, we will never know what he would actually think of his personal works being used for such purposes. What we do know is that there are a hell of a lot of Nirvana fans out there and these joints will surely generate a lot of interest when they hit stores sometime soon.
