Scythe, a new Singaporean streetwear brand, has teamed up with Hong Kong streetwear label Ning Si Bu Qu (NSBQ) to release a military shirt (limited to 88 pieces). Details have been kept tightly under wraps, but with NSBQ’s reputation for using military/sociopolitical imagery and references, we gather it will run something along those lines.
To commemorate the occasion, Scythe has roped in former LMF frontman and current NSBQ head, MC Yan, along with DJ Frankie, as well as a whole host of local artists, for a launch party at Ministry of Sound, Singapore. Guests can look forward to a series of workshops, live art installations by the regions finest, an exhibition of kicks courtesy of Sole Obsession, and performances headed by Yan and Frankie. Surely a night not to be missed, see you all there.
To get on the guest list, email your name and contact number to Jason at jscyther@hotmail.com; doors open at 7.30pm, 14th June, 2008; check the flyer for more details.
