Once again, the Japanese Film Festival returns, courtesy of the Japan Foundation, Kuala Lumpur and Golden Screen Cinemas, with a run of 7 films made between 2004 and 2007; also, as a mark of respect to the late Kon Ichikawa who passed away earlier this year, there will a retrospective screening of 3 of her films.
The list of films are:

The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (HOSODA Mamoru, 2006)

Tony Takitani (ICHIKAWA Jun, 2004)
Memories of Matsuko (NAKASHIMA Tetsuya, 2006)
Kaidan (NAKATA Hideo, 2007)
Harp of Burma (ICHIKAWA Kon, 1956)
Ten Dark Women (ICHIKAWA Kon, 1961)
Dora-Heita (ICHIKAWA Kon, 2000)
The films will run at GSC Mid Valley and GSC 1 Utama (New Wing) from 17th - 21st July, 2008; and at GSC Gurney Plaza from 25th - 27th July, 2008. Tickets are priced at RM5 per screening, log on to www.gsc.com.my for more information.
