Unlike the majority of hybrid sneakers we’ve seen from Nike lately, such as the Air Force 1 fusions and Jordan hybrids etc,  the Free Hybrid Boot combines technology and design elements in a much less in-your-face way.

The boots feature more mature components, such as a moccasin style toebox and plain leather uppers. Yet, the Free Hybrid Boot is unmistakably a sneaker; the Free sole and ACG-esque heel strap ensures that these aren’t out to replace your formal shoes or your “grown-up” kicks.

The design surely isn’t for all, but that can be said about most of the Free/Considered range, which has given rise to some of the most innovative sneakers of the last few years – these being no exception.

Available at selected Nike stockists across South East Asia around September 2008.
