Cloth & Clef, Changkat Bukit Bintang’s latest F&B establishment, is bringing together music, fashion, food and art all under one roof. The first floor offers dining, as well as a stage for musicians and artists to perform, whilst the upper area houses an art gallery and retail space. Proprietor Ethaya Kumarasamy aka E comments, “My dream is simply to provide a platform for creative people to showcase their work, whether music or fashion or any other medium or creative expression. There is a lot of great talent here in Malaysia, but it has become increasingly difficult for them to reach out to an audience”.
Cloth & Clef will be looking to host a wide variety of artists and themed nights every week. Expect to see all genres of the local music industry, from dance to hip-hop to traditional percussionists. If you happen to be a closet musician yourself, look out for Feedback, a new open mic night that invites anyone with something to perform, to stand up and take to the stage. On the retail side, Cloth & Clef will be looking to bring in brands such as Upper Playground, Ubiq and RVCA.
Stay tuned for updates on events happening at Cloth & Clef, located at No.30, Jalan Changkat Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur.
