Last weekend, it was the final episode of the month-long adiartist programme, which involves selected artists putting on a live art performance as well as a showcasing works at participating adidas Originals stores in Singapore for a week. Lazy took over the Raffles City store, whilst fellow sneaker customizers Hypthetic occupied the Pacific Plaza branch.
Unsurprisingly - due to the fact that both parties are famed for their proficiency with fabrics and needlework - there was a whole lot of cut and sew pieces around. Lazy came up with a ‘Maggot Therapy’ inspired collection of cushions, bags, kicks and clothes, whilst the Hypethetic boys broke out the sewing machine for a live demonstration to complement the slew of custom kicks on display. If you’re in town and haven’t checked the stores out, today is the final day to do so - so hurry!
All eight artists works will be collectively exhibited sometime this month, so stay tuned for further details. In the meantime, hit the jump to check out the pics from last weekend.
