In spring/summer 2009 adidas Originals will unveil a fresh collection that celebrates and reflects decades of the brand’s rich heritage and lifestyle credentials. It marks the 60th anniversary of the iconic 3-Stripes mark introduced by company founder Adi Dassler. For consumers “60 Years of Soles and Stripes” means a year-long celebration and product introductions that has something for everyone.

Streething is honoured to be invited to witness of their innovative presentation at Milan Fashion that truly represents the brand is all about – Celebrating Originality. The whole runway show was turned into a “house party” which allocated different rooms for providing sneak preview of the future releases. A two-floor stage show installation built up as an enormous house brings the party to life, hosting all the different product themes and spring/summer 2009 concepts that make up the Trefoil brand such as the anniversary range “60 Years of Soles and Stripes”. Their upcoming special range include of iconic style footwear and apparel products.

One of the most interesting new men’s sub-collection is the collaboration with Italian pop icon scooter manufacturer VESPA, it is two iconic brands that come together for a unique partnership with products referencing to classic men’s looks, colours and designs. We have been told to watch out for full range of adidas x VESPA comes next Spring/Summer.

Aside from the groundbreaking collection, adidas managed to invite their very own legendary Stan Smith along with other industry partners as well as fashion editors from all around the world to attend the launch. Soon after the fashion show was over,  everyone was ushered to the open bar after the show to party, mingle and people watch.

It was an unforgettable night and big thank to adidas South East ASia for giving us an opportunity to witness such grand and glamorous launch in Milan. Watch out for HOUSE PARTY coming to the major cities of South East Asia – Bangkok, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Manila and Singapore early next year.

The new range will be available at adidas Originals stores as well as selected sneaker and fashion doors all around the world starting in January 2009
