As 2008 comes to an end tonight, we would like to take a quick recap at some of the events that made the year so memorable. We would like to thank everyone for their support and we hope that we can provide you guys with even better coverage in 2009!

Streething All in the Family. – the event of the year – because it’s ours!
Dave White @ Sole What, KL. – Mr.White’s first appearance in Malaysia for the Year of the Dunk campaign.
Steve Aoki @ Zouk, KL. – One of the most in-demand party DJs currently out there, Steve certainly lived up to his reputation.
New Balance 576 20th anniversary @ Leftfoot Anthropology. – Don’t forget it was also the 576 20th anniversary this year, and New Balance Singapore and Leftfoot went all out.
Jordan 23 launch @ Limited Edt, Singapore. – Limited Edt celebrated his royal airness’ 23rd edition of Jordans with a huge exhibition.
Celebrate Originality @ Bangkok, Thailand. – adidas Thailand teamed up with Crooked Tongues for the biggest sneakerhead party in Bangkok.
adidas Sounds of the City launch @ RAW, KL. – adidas launched their Sounds of the City range with a banging fashion show and live performances.
Bang-Mi/Whatever launch @ Maison, KL. – Vice Modern Disco kicked off their monthly Bang-MI/Whatever KL nights with a huge BANG!
Gilbert Arenas adidas Asian Tour in Manila – We are no ballers, but at least we get to meet one in person!
Nike Sportswear launch @ Beijing, China. – And NSW is born!
Ed Banger@ Zouk Singapore. – Banging Banging Banging!
MC Yan @ MOS, Singapore. – Too bad that the Scythe brand didn’t manage get off the ground, but we’re happy to see MC Yan back in the region again.
New Balance 576 China Mask launch @ Shanghai, China. – Some crazy times up in Shanghai courtesy of New Balance Singapore.
Oakley Hijinx x Frank Kozik launch @ Leftfoot Entrepot, Singapore. – We got froggy courtesy of Leftfoot and Oakley.
Lapsap 1st anniversary @ Palate Palette, KL. – The Lapsap boys had their1st anniversary, and it was a mental house. Imagine 600 people squashed into a venue fit for 300!
Streething presents “The Eight” for Nike Sportswear @ NSW pop-up space, KL. – Thanks to Nike Malaysia for allowing us to present the NSW range in our own unique style – and you gotta love our 130kg giant-size Dunk!
New Balance 576 China Mask launch @ Leftfoot Entrepot, Singapore. – The shoes finally launch, and after selling the stocks, Leftfoot owner Anthony Ho managed to chase everyone away with five bottles of tequila.
Sole What? 1st anniversary @ Sole What?, KL. – Times flies by fast doesn’t it?
Surrender re-opening @ Singapore. – The new and improved Surrender.
Lapsap vs Twilight Action Girl @ Palate Palette, KL. – as The Loft closed it’s doors, the party faithful needed something to help them fill in their empty Friday nights – and this one managed to break the record by going until 4am!
adidas Originals Spring/Summer ‘09 launch @ Milan, Italy. – 2009 will be a big year for adidas, and this vibrant showcase tells us why.
adidas Skateboarding Contest @ The Ramp, Bangkok. – big up to the Preduce boys for organizing this stellar event.
Heineken Green Room – featuring Dex Pistols, Lapsap and Van She. -The Green Room series returns!
Glam Wheel launch @ Stadium Melawati, Shah Alam. – Congrats to Riyaz for launching his own skate wheel brand.
Sneakers For College launch @ Sneakers, Subang. – Check out local artist Spoonman’s work for the event.
Nike Sportswear Store @ Tokyo, Japan. – We get a closer insight to the NSW concept, stay tuned as no doubt there’ll be more next year.
Barsonic launch @ Zouk, KL. – Finally, The Loft’s spiritual successor opens – hail Barsonic!
