2009 is meant to be the year of the Pump, for Reebok anyway as they’re celebrating the Pump’s 20th anniversary. But most importantly for the auspicious, 2009 is the year of the Chinese Zodiac animal, the Ox. It’s a recurring theme in sneakerdom that always manages to find it’s mark, especially in Asia. In our opinion, these Year of the Ox Pump Omni Lites are probably the loudest “year of” sneaker in recent memory, but we guess that many around here like to celebrate Chinese New Year loud and proud anyway.
