The Louis Vutton Don aka Kanye West recently announced that he’s looking to intern at a major fashion house, but with the upcoming range of kicks for Louis Vutton, it may seem that Mr. West might be leapfrogging over that idea and jumping right into the designer’s seat. So far, out of the five scheduled sneakers that Kanye has helped to design, only the above model has an official picture.
Whilst Kanye has been known to like his sneakers having big ‘ol tongues to tuck his pants into, he said that he wanted to concentrate on the heel with these low-cut joints – which explains the additional quilted flap. The mono-colour kicks are looking pretty clean now, and only time will tell if the heel flap will be as functional as it is aesthetically pleasing.
We personally aren’t fans of tucking our jeans into the back of lows, but hey, horses for courses we guess. Expect these to hit Louis Vutton stores in June 2009.
