Skateistan is a skate school based in war-torn Afghanistan that is dedicated to not only teaching Afghani youths how to skate, but also providing them with project management, English and life skills. The aim is to break down the various ethnic and socioeconomic barriers, and develop a program that empowers youths to speak out on issues that concern them.
