This weekend’s going to be completely mental, or excuse the pun, totally Off The Rocker! Just a day after Sinden will rock Zouk Club KL’s mainroom for the adidas “60 Years Of Soles And Stripes” House Party, Japanese electro gurus Shinichi Osawa and Masatoshi Uemura will be bringing the bang to Barsonic. Osawa is revered for his hit remixes of Star Guitar and Pogo, and word of him coming down has sent the indie/dance faithful into a frenzy, whilst Uemura has already proven his worth around these parts after belting out a banging set at Surrender Singapore’s reopening party last year.
Together they form a very formidable tag team, much like our local Lapsap duo Blink and Ah Xu, and this gig is definitely not to be missed. Make sure to get there early, as expected to get more than a little crowded; in the meantime, hit the jump to check out the video for Star Guitar.
Lapsap & Co present Off The Rocker will start at 10.30pm on February 28th at Barsonic, Zouk Club KL, 113 Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Admission is RM20 for girls and RM30 for guys (Inclusive of one drink) or RM288++ for a bottle entry that allows six persons in, whilst Barsonic Facebook Group members get in for free before 11pm.
