STREEThing

As the adidas “60 Years of Soles and Stripes” House Party’s kicked off simultaneously across South East Asia last Friday night, we were on hand to help out the Malaysian leg and make sure everyone partied hard – and obviously by the look of things they very much did! As good as the Vespa customisation contest was, with peeps even decking their bikes out in Mark Gonzalez and Run DMC designs, and as hip as the fashion show was, people come to a house party to party – and adidas delivered in spades!

Local electro/indie/whateveryoucallit outfit Lapsap, aka DJ Blink and DJ XU, and hip-hop supremo DJ Goldfish split the crowd into two rooms, one for dance and the other for hip-hop, where after getting the crowd all riled up, paved the way for Sinden to take over the mainroom. When the UK DJ, famed for his hit track Beeper!,  hit the decks, the crowd just switched into full overdrive and didn’t let loose until security chased everyone off at 3am – now that’s how we party!
