One of the most mental nights of the year, Off The Rocker was just that – completely off the f**kin’ rocker! The team of Shinichi Osawa and Masatoshi Uemura had the crowd packed in much earlier than usual, due to fears of not being able to get in if they came any later than 11. Well, there was no need for any fear, as by 1 it was packed tighter and hotter than a pressure cooker and to our amazement they were still letting people in!
I’m not even sure how we managed to get any pictures, as there was barely any room to move, the crowd was sweating like filthy hogs and the usually empty corridor was full of peeps catching their breath – and yet people weren’t even thinking about leaving due to the Japanese DJ duo’s constant barrage of banging tunes and exclusive mixes. And yes, when Shin dropped Star Guitar people went as crazy as you imagine they would.
Remember, this was less than 24 hours after the adidas Malaysia House Party that featured Sinden – we’re three months into 2009 and we’re ready to say this was the most rocking weekend of the year – but we’d like to be proven wrong!
