Nike has teamed up with product designer, Pierre Haulot, for the innovative Virtual Park spray paint. Temporary glow-in-the-dark paint is dispensed from the cannister, illuminating dark areas for around two hours before magically disappearing. The idea is to be able to create visible markings at night so that you can play your favourite games in places that would normally be either too dark, or would not have the proper boundaries/lines/facilities.

Footpatrol has been in the sneakers business for a good five years and they have been one of the most influential sneaker stores in the world. Sadly they decidedly not to renew their lease at St Anne’s Court and the physical store will be closed at the end of March 2008. They will continue to work on special projects via their Stussy London store and The Hideout store. Do check their website from time to time for their future plans.

Footpatrol opened in 2002 in Soho, London stocking select sneakers and footwear. Our mission was to find the best of the best across various footwear brands and to create special projects with our partners.

Our lease at 16A St Anne’s Court has come to an end and we have decided not to renew. We will therefore close the physical store at the end of March 2008.

In the meantime, we will be having a clearance sale at 16A St Anne’s Court.

We are continuing to work with our suppliers on some special projects. These will appear over the summer at our other stores - Stussy on 19 Earlham Street and The Hideout on 7 Upper James Street.

UNDEFEATED has unveiled their latest collection on their web. We take notice even UNDEFEATED has gone back to basic with pieces like their iconic strike-through logo on pocket tee and U-man print on sweat hoody. Guess Eddie Cruz is sticking to his “quality over quantity” motto. Their Spring collection will be available at US chapter stores from 6th March onward.

A Surrender x Be@rbrick prototype has surfaced. It apparently shed its clothes after exposing to heat. We are thinking it works like how Nitraid Be@rbrick would change its colour from black to camo after exposing to much heat. This Be@rbrick is designed by Surrender’s designer Andy Chng . No news on the release date yet but we just can’t wait!

16th February

• 2-3pm He will be signing autograph for those who purchase any Nike Dunks @Nike Sport Culture, The Curve
• 8-11pm He will be doing a live sketch to the public at Streething All In The Family Event

The BE TRUE campaign will embrace Malaysia on the 15th February 2008. Make your way to Sole What? at 7pm for the launch of the Vintage Dunk Hi series and also for an announcement of the “For a good cause” special launch at the same date. Dave White will be in store to sign those who purchase the Vintage Dunk Hi. Make sure to be there.

In the month of February, there will be a series of Nike Be True campaigns in major cities of South East Asia. Nike Thailand is using ambient media for their Be True Campaign by having skate deck and basketball board inserted to the sidewalk of Siam Square. You can also download a series of Nike Dunk Manga by simply turning on your mobile’s bluetooth. A new episode is being updated every week for 4 weeks.

What is a successful campaign without a huge event?

On 15th February 2008, their Dunk Event will be happening at Siam Theatre featuring some of the most rare collection of Dunks from Crooked Tongues, Limited Etd., Genesis and local collectors. Sam Flores and Jase will be doing a live painting during the event. The after-party continues at Club Culture with the Japanese biggest hiphop crew Nitro Microphone Underground and MC Topa & DJ Hobby:Tech of Kiks Tyo.
