New York based photographer Timothy McGurr a.k.a. 13th Witness recently made a video of his graffiti artist father Futura, taking a more ‘behind-the-scenes’ approach of the spraycan wizard working his magic.

Prior to the global adidas Originals Star Wars Campaign, Hong Kong artist Dorophy Tang has once again joined forces with the sportswear label, this time to recreate a series of vintage Star Wars posters in her signature style. They’re now being exhibited at the adidas Originals Dunhua concept store in China. Here’s a look at them.
By the power of Wordpress, we give you a look at the recent ‘He-Man and the Masters of the Universe’ exhibition at Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles. One of the most popular cartoon series from the ’80s, artists from all over the world that were inspired by the cartoon paid tribute by creating their own interpretations of characters from the He-man universe. Check out the video of Robert Burden’s 100″ x 70″ canvas painting of Battle Cat, whilst some pics from the exhibition can be seen after the jump. Contemporary artist Ron English was recently commissioned to create a painting of Homer Simpson in celebration of The Simpsons’ 20th anniversary as well as the airing of their 450th episode. Check out the video above for the painting process which incorporates a little of late American painter Jackson Pollock’s style.

Directed by Antonino D’Ambrosio, ‘Let Fury Have The Hour’ is a documentary film based on D’ambrosio’s book of the same name that explores the role that punk-rock legends The Clash played in bringing people together by spreading social and political awareness through their music. The point of the film is to highlight how music, art and culture can break down barriers – check out the trailer for a taste of things to come.
Also, Artist Shepard Fairey of Obey released an exclusive print based on the film. They’re individually numbered to 450 pieces and were signed by both Fairey and D’Ambrosio . Unfortunately, they sold out pretty quick, so if you want one then you’ll have to keep an eye on ebay or sift through the reseller market. Hit the jump to view the print.

Singaporean street artist The Killer Gerbil has released this downloadable crest sticker to welcome in the new year. It’s available in both A4 format and a 4″ x 4″ format for bicycle spoke cards. Fans of his work will probably print it out as stickers or save it as a wallpaper for their phones, but the more inventive could try their hand at making it into an actual head badge for their bike.
