Japan’s Mita Sneakers just recently teamed up with Singapore’s Leftfoot for the New Balance Feral Creation Collection, and within less than a month they’re set to release another pair of collaboration sneakers, this time with Reebok.

After a whole load of previews, most of us were already expecting the release of the Nike SB and NSW “Gucci-inspired” Dunk His this season, but this pair of Ex-O-Fit Straps is certainly out of the blue. The kicks feature a black/white base topped off with Gucci-like straps and an exotic mix of ostrich and snake skin details.

Medicom is finally releasing this special set of Be@rbricks made in collaboration with Japanese fleece specialists Loopwheeler. There will be three different sizes, the 100% and 400% versions will feature a felt-like material around the vinyl, whilst the 1000% one will be wrapped in Loopwheeler’s signature fleece fabric. The bears will see a release next week in extremely limited quantities.

Singapore store Know it Nothing has released their first issue of their bi-annual zine. Featuring apparel and footwear from Maiden Noir, PAM, Sperrys and more, it offers a glimpse into their Spring/Summer 2009 collection and also personal behind-the-scenes moments. Shot by Dju-lian Chng from Sparkleoats, it is available either in soft or hard copy.

Serbian street label Carrot Clothing recently did a collaboration long-sleeve T-shirt with graffiti artist Steve Powers aka “ESPO” from New York. The piece features a rainbow-coloured font on the front and is a preview for their upcoming Fall ‘09 Collection. Apparently, when Powers was asked to explain his design, he stated that “Street art is gay, and proud of it”.

For Fall ‘09, Converse will be bringing back more influential legends of rock to feature on a variety of All-Stars, twith he first acts to take to the stage being  AC/DC and Metallica. The kicks sport graphics and logos from AC/DC’s Back In Black as well as Metallica’s Ride the Lightning albums. Rock fans don’t sleep,  knowing the loyal fan followings these two bands have amassed around these parts, these’ll definitely be shifting fast!

The AC/DC and Metallica x Converse All-Star Highs will be available soon at selected stockists across South East Asia.

Lacoste has just released their latest Silver Croc design for the exclusive Summer ‘09 Stealth Collection. The first two models to be introduced in the series is the Observe 3 and the Tiller. Both pairs sport a pure white leather upper with metallic silver croc panels that are made out of plastic-like material.

For adidas’ second season of Originals By Originals, Kazuki Kuraishi and Jeremy Scott return for another round of unique designs, whilst American streetwear brand Undefeated co-founder James Bond collaborates with football superstar David Beckham on a new collection.

Today, we’re taking a closer look at the upcoming apparel for the Kazuki line, which builds upon the current season’s focus on technical-yet-wearable streetwear. Japanese label Neighborhood also have a hand in the design, so their familiar skull ‘n’ crossbones logo – which has been given a trefoil-ized makeover – is featured on many of the products.
