December 12th will be a big day for fixie enthusiasts around the region, as not only will Crank Arm Steady be holding the 120km ‘Tour of Singapore’ ride, but Bangkok fixie collectives BKK Fixed and Fairy Fixed will team up with bike retailer Velothai to hold their next Alley Cat race. Besides the main event which is the race itself, there will also be the usual competitions for longest track stand, skid and wheelie. Prizes and mad antics assured, don’t miss out!

The Bangkok City Tour Alley Cat Race will start with its registration at 5pm on December 12th at the King Rama V Monument, Bangkok. Email them at bkkfixed@gmail.com for more information.

Singaporean streetwear brand SMG recently became an official stockist of Japanese label Devilock, and to celebrate they’ll be throwing a party, which so happens to coincide with Devilock’s 13th Anniversary. The event is divided into two phases: the launch event (Order), and the after party (Chaos).

SMG will unveil some of Devilock,’s latest designs, as well as officially launch some of the exclusive range of SMG x Devilock products. The after party will take place at the Rebel Boutique Club right.

Here’s a look at the second trailer for the Bicycle Film Festival. Directed by Marco Mucig, the video takes a more fun approach to things, with riders clad in alphabetic costumes flipping tricks and playing bike polo. This weekend, the Lapsap boys will be dropping their neck-breaking tracks at their monthly 4Hours Set this Saturday at Barsonic, whilst the next day after the party sees their Junkyard Sale taking at Palate Palette. As usual, house BBQ will be served and it’s definitely the best time to source some obscure Lapsap-wares.

Heineken Greem Room is back, with a series of mini-events happening around KL for the past few months, the green is taking over Zouk Club KL’s mainroom once again for a night of total carnage. Remember Van She, Dex Pistols and Lapsap’s three-way face-off last year? If you don’t, click here for a reminder. This time around, the stage will feature Verbal from Japanese acts Teriyaki Boys/M-Flo, UK indie band the Filthy Dukes, as well as local acts DJ Blink, DJ Goldfish and Didjital from the Bass Agents.

The event is invite-only and we’ve managed to secure a guestlist of 150 for Streething peeps, if you want on then just shoot your full name and phone number to harick@streething.com.

Remember, its one invite per request only, and club rules do apply, so please make sure you’re at least 21 years old before emailing us. If you do not receive a confirmation email, then that means the list is full – first come, first served so don’t sleep!

The Lapsap boys will be throwing their trademark private party to celebrate their 2nd birthday, and where else could be other than the place where it all began, Palate Palette. This time around they’ll be featuring guests DJs Dipha (Indonesia) and Has (Singapore).
