Local skateshop Wheelove will be hosting their next fixed gear event, this time as part of the Heineken Green Space project. The main event for the night will be the screening of the all-new fixie film Death Pedal 2, as well as a track stand competition with Dia Compe bike parts to be won.

Besides that, there will also be a graffiti installation by local street artist Sheiko, music by DJ AN, free food, free Heineken beer as well as freebies for everyone. It’s invite only, so make sure to RSVP ASAP.

The Bike Aite? Fixed Gear Party will start at 5pm on March 13th at the Wheelove Skateshop, Ground Floor, 28 Jalan SS15/4, Subang Jaya, Malaysia. Bangkok based fixie retailer Sealee Fixed will be hosting their next fixed gear competition in Thailand. Focusing more on tricks this time around, the list of events will include a track stand battle, skid king, a trick battle for both professionals and amateurs, as well as a drag race.

Sealee Fixed presents Thailand Trick Battle will start at 4pm on March 27th at The Subhachalasai National Stadium. Registration is THB200 for guys whilst girls get in for free.

Taiwanese fixie collective nabiis has joined forces with streetwear label FTC to produce a series of bike frames. Tested by the nabiis cycling crew for over a year, the frames are constructed from durable double-butted 4130 Cro-Moly and carries a stylish modern bike look. These special frames are also fitted with a custom made fork which allows barspins with normal 700c wheels. The turquoise, silver and gunmetal colourways are available now at the nabiis online store in 48cm, 50cm, 52cm and 54cm, whilst the metallic black/gold is an FTC store exclusive.

The peeps from Crank Arm Steady have just posted up a video of their recent ‘Tour Of Singapore’ ride which took place last Saturday. Whilst most people chose to spend their weekend over at Zoukout, over 50 peeps opted for the 120km ride around the island which took 10 hours to complete. Fashion designer Paul Smith has teamed up with Japanese bike saddle maker Kashimax to release this limited edition leather saddle. Wrapped in the classic Paul Smith signature stripes, Only 28 pieces were made and launched during the Tokyo Bicycle Film Festival last month at the Paul Smith ‘Space’ in Tokyo, and their own store at Floral Street, England.

December 12th will be a big day for fixie enthusiasts around the region, as not only will Crank Arm Steady be holding the 120km ‘Tour of Singapore’ ride, but Bangkok fixie collectives BKK Fixed and Fairy Fixed will team up with bike retailer Velothai to hold their next Alley Cat race. Besides the main event which is the race itself, there will also be the usual competitions for longest track stand, skid and wheelie. Prizes and mad antics assured, don’t miss out!
