Pop’s current headline grabber Lady Gaga has teamed up with famed fashion photographer David LaChapelle to produce a deluxe version of her latest album, ‘The Fame Monster’. The deluxe pack comes with a book that features Lady Gaga and even Kanye West shot in LaChapelle’s signature over-the-top style. If you’re going gaga for the lady or have yet to purchase the album yet, then this will probably be the definitive version of the hit LP.

Belgian DJ duo 2manydjs aka  Soulwax will be making a live appearance here in Kuala Lumpur early next year. Led by brothers Stephen and David Dawaele, the guys are well known for their remixes of artists such as Justice, LCD Soundsystem and Klaxons. They’ve released several major albums since 1996 along with a documentary of their successful Summer ‘06 tour entitled ‘Part of the Weekend Never Dies’.

Their show will be fully supported by local electro acts as well as a special guest appearance by Agrikulture from Indonesia. For those who are still in doubt of what to expect, hit the jump to check out the teaser for their documentary as well as their remix of MGMT’s ‘Kids’.

SMG has teamed up with CLOT Media Division and DJ Tommy to release a limited ‘black edition’ of the DJ Tommy Vinyl CD-MP3 Robot. Besides being just a figure, the toy actually contains a USB thumbrive on the inside, which holds DJ Tommy’s latest album that features appearances from Edison Chen, JJ Lin, MC Yan and more. They’re produced in a limited run of 300 pieces worldwide and will be exclusively available at the Smudge Store. Pre-orders are entitled to a special price and will be receiving their figures on Christmas Eve.

Future Sound Asia are gearing up for a New Year’s blitz, as they’ve snagged two of the most sought after dance acts to rock KL. The guys have invited electronic-dance DJ duo The Bloody Beetroots for a New Year’s eve countdown party. Known for their hard electro tunes, as well as their penchant for wearing the ‘Venom’ mask, the Italian duo recently released their debut album ‘Romborama’ that includes their club hits ‘Warp’ and ‘Cornelius’.

The second night, which will take place two days after the countdown party, will feature UK Grammy Award winning electronic-dance act Basement Jaxx. Being one of the most recognisable names in the party scene, the dance music veterans are not to be missed. If you’ve got no plans for the year end celebrations yet, then it’s about time to make them now!

French DJ Collective Kitsune have just released their 8th Maison Compilation – the chic and nice issue. The album features 20 tracks from returning Kitsune artists as well as some new additions like Two Door Cinema Club and Delphic. UK punk legends the Buzzcocks are having a few live performance around the region following their recent world tour. If you missed out on their gig in KL about a week ago, you can still catch them live in Singapore and Bangkok later this month.
