Here’s a quick recap of the Supra Footwear Fall ‘08 range that recently landed at Zone5 and PUSH Skateshop, with highlights being the classy looking patent leather Suprano High and silver Vaider, whilst the TUF Skytops which use some advanced abrasion-resistant materials are technically impressive as well. Stay tuned for more info about Supra Footwear in Malaysia, as December will see even more releases.

Taking inspiration from outdoor jackets, these Japan-designed New Balance MTG580s feature Gore-Tex uppers and optional bungee laces that come complete with those plastic adjuster things that everybody in the Streething team has used since forever, but doesn’t know what they’re actually called. Tech details aside, the various textures and tones used really give these kicks a unique dimension, and as per usual with bright coloured sneakers - only the bold need apply.

The “Outdoor jacket” New Balance MTG580 will hit selected stockists around South East Asia in January 2009.

The Cabestan Vulc is Lacoste’s deck shoe from the mid-80s revamped with a vulcanised outsole to move with current trends, the new hybrids tread a thin line between being a casual shoe and a low-profile sneaker. The kicks feature solid base colours that are complemented by a fruity pop of pastelle coloured accents - just what we need when the monsoon rain stops pissing down.

The Cabestan Vulcs will be available in January 2009 at Sole What?, Lot S-229A The Gardens, Kuala Lumpur.

Zone5 recently received their first batch of kicks from Supra Footwear’s Fall ‘08 collection, and almost instantly most of the good sizes got snapped up by those in the know. This time around, we’re giving you guys a heads up for the upcoming Vaider High Snakeskin (Above), and the much anticipated “G-State” Skytop (Below). The kicks will drop sometime this December, stay tuned for information about Supra Footwear at Zone5.

Hot on the heels of the recently launched tribute to The Doors, Converse will soon release these All Star Highs that feature artwork from the godfathers of heavy metal, Black Sabbath. Similar to The Doors All Stars, these are pretty much your standard time-tested canvas sneakers with graphics slapped on the sides - it might not set sneakerdom on fire, but we can see the appeal to fans of the acts. Stay tuned for more information about upcoming Converse music tribute kicks.

The Black Sabbath All Stars will be available soon at selected stockists across South East Asia.

Recently, K-Swiss teamed up with world renown sneaker store Atmos to come up with this series of kicks. Although six designs were created, only four (Pictured above) will be making their way to Malaysia. The SI-18s feature a heavy dose of elephant print that panders heavily towards the 80s retro look, whilst the Classic LOS models serve up the more clean style that K-swiss is known for. Only 300 each worldwide and only 12 each in Malaysia.

The K-Swiss x Atmos sneakers will be available from November 1st, 2008, at the following locations: SI-18 Rannel exclusively at Sole What?, The Gardens; SI-18 Bristel and Classic LOS black exclusively at Sneakers, Subang Jaya; Classic Los white exclusively at 3.6, MId Valley Megamall, Malaysia.

We’re sure mostly everyone knows about the Converse Century celebrations going on this year, with part of it being dedicated to some of the most defining musical acts of our time. Available now are these All Star Highs and Lows that feature graphic prints of legendary rockers The Doors. Expect to see artists such as Ozzy Osbourne and Pink Floyd being honoured with their own kicks very soon, so stay tuned for more details.

The Doors Converse All Star Highs and Lows are priced at RM135.90 - RM139.90 and are available at selected Converse shops and stockists around Malaysia.

Next year, New Balance will be re-releasing their classic M850 running sneakers. Originally produced in 1991 at the legendary Flimby factory in England, the M850 model was one of the only performance shoes the company created that pulled together the full array of technologies available to them at the time.

The first design that will be hitting stores is a re-release of the OG white, pink and teal green colourway (Third and fourth picture below). Shortly after that, New Balance will release three more colourways that should have 90s running sneaker entusiasts all hot and bothered. Stay tuned for infomation about upcoming New Balance releases.

The OG M850 colourway re-release will hit selected stockists around South East Asia in February 2009, whilst the other colours will be available from March onwards.
