Medicom has just released their latest Be@rbrick Series 18 which includes some key pieces like Spongebob, Hello Kitty, Tokidoki and the T-700 Terminator. We also spotted a limited edition Futura Laboratories collab and other interesting works by various artists.
The Be@rbrick Series 18 is available now at Action City Malaysia and Singapore.
We have previously seen the kicks and tees under the “Full Metallic Jacket” pack by Stussy, Undefeated, and realmad Hectic, now here’s a look at the Be@rbrick in 400% and 100% versions. The three labels have never failed in executing some fresh designs on either the shoes, apparels or toys. Fans of the collab series will want to get their orders in now at the Black Chamber store.

After much anticipated talk among toy collectors, the Surrender Be@rbrick has finally made its way to the racks in a set of 400% and 100%. As you already know, the vinyl toy is painted with a special and unique coating which allows it to reveal its “sexy” secret nature when heated. They’re limited in quantities and exclusively available at the Surrender store only.

Isetan, WWF and Medicom got together again to release this 50% Be@rbrick for the “Kiss The Earth” charity campaign featuring one of our many national treasures, the Orangutan. With every purchase of the toy at JPY 300(approx. MYR 11) from June 17th until June 30th, Medicom donates JPY 100 towards the cause to conserve the losing habitat of the endangered species.

Medicom Toy has teamed up with Bandai to release the first 200% sized Be@rbrick made out of Chogokin, the metal which was used to make Bandai toys back in the day and was discontinued due to its high cost, but has made a resurgence in the toy collecting community. The 1000 pieces limited toy features screw holes along the back which is exactly how Bandai collectibles were made. Although these are already sold out in Japan, Medicom Toy account holders in other parts of world will be officially releasing them soon in very limited quantities.

It seems like the creative head of Sillything, TK, has just added a new toy into his collection. The Hot Toys 12 inch Tony Stark’s Iron Man Mark 3 suit here is given a gun metal treatment by TK himself which also carries some cool features like the glowing eyes and heart which are battery operated as well as working forearm missiles. The original version can be viewed here, and is available at any Hot Toys stockists, whilst this version will be available sometime later this year.

Royalefam, the brainchild of Singaporean sneaker customizer SBTG aka Mark Ong, has gained a lot of momentum over the past 18 months. The brand has been collaborating on skatedecks and Be@rbricks, as well as creating more detailed cut ‘n’ sew garments for their own line.
