NEWS: The Changes @ Utopian Slumps, Melbourne

Sunday, November 16th, 2008

Held at non-profit art space, Utopian Slumps, The Changes is basically a band that uses visuals instead of music to reach their audience, think The Jesus and Mary Chain, but substituting guitars with screen printing, drums with sculptures, get the idea?

The “Band” consist of Skatething (BBC, Bape), Fergadelic (Tonite), Shauna Toohey (PAM) and Misha Hollenbach (PAM). This “band” is proof that creativity and pop culture knows no boundaries and that you don’t have to be in the same continent to produce an art show that where each piece complements each other so well.

Shout out to our Melbourne correspondent Gangster23 aka Jason for the event coverage!

The Changes is currently on show now till 29 November at Utopian Slumps, 5/25 Easey Street, Collingwood.
