A pleasant surprise from Reebok, the Classic Royale is the company’s stab at more formal looking sneakers. The premium quality leather is paired up with clean aesthetics and a slim-profile silhouette for a classy looking pair of kicks. These will be released in several colours, along with a low-cut version.

When news of the Reebok Reverse Jam Monopoly pack first surfaced on the net, the response was not very favourable. Coming right after the Kool Aid pack, it sort of left a sour aftertaste in what many were saying would be the company’s comeback year. Very unfortunate indeed, as Reebok has a very strong line-up of non-gimmick based kicks this year that definately deserve more attention.
So when we were sent a couple of boxes of boks to shoot, we immediately rolled our eyes at some of the disasters of the Monopoly pack. Upon closer inspection, some of the kicks from the pack don’t look too bad at all. Unlike the kicks based on Monopoly money, the trio pictured below do not come off looking like cheap bootlegs.

One of our favourite models from Reebok is the classic Ventilator. Getting the name from the ventilator-type grills on the sides that allow heat to be dissipated more quickly, combined with ERS cushioning, the Ventilator is one of those sneakers that you can just wear all day. We have been seeing some solid colourways being released lately, and this upcoming release continues the trend. No over the top designs - just good colour and material combinations.

One of Reebok’s most popular models, the Classic, is back again with the Leather Lux treatment that blends premium-quality materials with complication-free colourways. Reebok Malaysia have managed to get in less than 50 pairs, in total, of the colours pictured above; the cream and grey/yellow are men’s, whilst the grey/red is for the ladies.

Reebok seems to be going full force with the resurgence of the popular Freestyle. Good to see that the women’s market is not being left out as Malaysia’s sneaker scene grows.

Reebok have collaborated with designer/artist Roland Berry once again to create a pack of quirky looking kicks. The Pro Legacy RBC models feature colourful designs with etched details, whilst the Reebok Net Asset MT RBCs sport a two-tone metallic colourway.

One for the ladies here, the Reebok Freestyle celebrated its 25th anniversary last year and is currently going on a world tour this year. When the kicks were released during the fitness craze of the 80’s and became an instant hit both in and out of the gym. The Freestyle has been sporting some hot colourways and designs lately, but for those seeking the simplicity that the model is famed for, this pack of plain pastelle (Nothing to do with Mr.West’s brand) coloured Freestyle Hi’s may just be what you need.
Unfortunately, these will not be officially released in South East Asia. The nearest official stockists will be in Hong Kong.
