The other side of the coin to the recently announced woven series by Nike, these black Air Zoom Talaches provide a potent counterpunch to the crispy-clean white’s. Looking slightly less monochromatic than their pale-complexioned counterparts, they still employ the same combination of premium woven leather and ostrich skin uppers. Choose your side well, or better yet, to hell with it and just go for both!

Unfortunately, the Air Zoom Talache 1 Mid and Air Zoom Talache 1 Low will not be released within the region.

To celebrate the birthplace of some of music’s most influential genres, adidas will pay homage to several major industry icons for the Sounds of the City series. The tribute kicks will be limited but will be accompanied with a general release counterpart (Not pictured) that is influenced by the respective music icon’s home city. There will also be a Sound of the City clothing line.

The Blue Note Pro Model has been released along with some apparel at adidas Originals stores in Pavilion KL and Suria KLCC. A new pair is scheduled to drop every month at selected stockists throughout South East Asia. Check with your local adidas originals stores for ETA.

Part of the New Balance A22 series, the A14 576 are inspired from coffee beans and use hemp and cork-like materials. Thankfully, they just appear to seem much more harder than they actually are.

The more Euro 2008 draws close; the more football related paraphernalia we are bombarded with. Nike kicks off their lifestyle take on the tournament with the Euro Champs 2008 pack that pays homage to the participating nations. The series employs various models and here we see the AM1 and AM90 being given the workout.

We particularly like the AM1’s, the beige/tan joints feature cracked leather, whilst the white’s sport glossy croc-skin. If we weren’t told that these were part of a footy inspired pack, we really wouldn’t have guessed it. You definately don’t need to be a football fan to take any of these for a kick about.

The Euro Champs 2008 pack is currently available at Nike Sports Culture stores and other selected stockists throughout South East Asia.

Beautiful Losers is a documentary by Aaron Rose about a group of like-minded outcasts that found common ground at a small New York City storefront gallery in the early 90’s, and later went on to influence an entire generation with their unique takes on art. The cast almost reads like a who’s who of street art; featuring artists such as Shepard Fairey, ESPO, Barry McGee and Chris Johanson.

They all share the same bond of coming from sub-cultures deeply rooted in do-it-yourself mentality - like punk, hip-hop, skateboarding and graffiti. The documentary primarily focuses on telling their personal stories on what motivated them and how they developed their craft.
