Major Lazer ‘Percumajor’

Major Lazer – the Jamaican dancehall-influenced dance music project between DJ/producers Diplo and Switch – has been touring Asia as late, stopping by most parts around the region up to two times in the last 12 months.

Now the duo have released their new tune, ‘Percumajor’, a rendition of Cajmere’s 1992 single ‘Coffee Pot (It’s time for the Perculator), a staple Diplo’s DJ sets.

The accompanying video, created by Konee Rok, sees illustrated cameos from a wealth of late ’80s and early ’90s icons. We’re talking Knight Rider, Hot Rod from Transformers, Michael Jordan, Gremlins, Guile from Street Fighter and much more.
