iPhone Cases Round-up @ Nimbus, Singapore

By streething, June 21, 2012

Like a gem waiting to be discovered, Nimbus at Wheelock Place offers a wide variety of iPhone cases, bringing all that’s interesting into one store so you won’t have to scout around anymore. From the ultra luxe animal leathers to designs from the legendary Andy Warhol.

At the top of the list is Maison Takuya from Japan, a brand that prides itself in their leather goods. It won’t come cheap but you definitely would not find someone else using the same Shark, Stingray, Ostrich or Goat leather iPhone case.

For the environmentally conscious, there’s the wooden cases from Taiwanese brand Evouni. You’re left to appreciate the raw texture of the wood, while the interior is reinforced with fiber glass. Choose from a striped pattern or natural wood grain.

Alternatively, you could let your iPhone wear paintings from the legendary Andy Warhol with the Incase x Andy Warhol cases; available in brightly coloured camo, a photograph of a crowd and the iconic banana.

Paying more tribute to pop art, there are the iPhone cases from the collaboration between Case Scenario x Keith Haring, whose anonymous silhouette figures were used for a capsule collection with streetwear giant, Obey

Also available is an iPhone case from English artist Jon Burgerman, who is most known for his work in The Little Big Planet video game franchise. Appealing to your inner child, Burgerman’s case is covered in colourful cartoon characters.

Last but not least is the Gizmon iCA Leica-inspired analogue camera iPhone case that has seen its popularity rise sharply after getting attention on the internet months ago (even spawning fakes). The Gizmon iCA cases even have their own apps at the iTunes store.

Nimbus is located at 501 Orchard Road, Wheelock Place, #02-20, Singapore 238880.
