The Dunk High Vandal is either the most understated fusion sneaker that Nike has produced ever, or it’s just another method to get more out of the Dunk’s uncanny product lifespan. Either way, we’re just loving the full nylon uppers combined with the slew of clean colourways.

Those that cringe when they hear about the gene-splicing of classic kicks, fear not, as the Dunk High just borrows the Vandal’s signature use of Nylon material, as well as it’s striped tongue tag – so you need not worry about any franken-sneaker type of horrors.

The Dunk High Vandal has been available for quite some time, and we’ve seen some really nice mono colours as well as takes on classic Vandal colourways, but the Black/Vivid Pink and White/Neutral grey joints featured here offer something different for the coming sunny and dry months.

The Nike Dunk High Vandal Black/Vivid Pink amd White/Neutral Grey is available now at selected Nike stockists worldwide.

If you know what track bikes and MASH SF are, then the annual fixie gathering dubbed Monster Track needs no introduction. The DVD documents the antics of the winter ‘07 race, which unfortunately was the last as the event outgrew itself in 2008 and was cancelled.

Travel  along the world of brake-less bikes and slippery roads as ruthless messenger Mike Dee takes you across the concrete jungle of NYC where fixie enthusiasts gather for the one week showdown. If you miss this, then you’re missing one of the most legendary fixie events that may never appear again.

The Monster Track DVD + Book is available to purchase at Turntablelab online store.

Now, Jakarta streetwear boutique 707 will be offering a similar service called the “Drop-Off Club”, where you bring in your authentic and unworn deadstock kicks, name your price and the guys will put it on display for potential buyers to drool over. Nothing new there, but we just know you guys love your buying and selling as much as wearing your treasured kicks.

Even though it’s a couple of years too late, the Gucci-inspired Dunk High SB colourway will finally make it’s way to stores later this year. Back when Nike’s SB line had peeps queueing up outside stores on a constant basis, the elusive Guccis were one of the most talked about and highly anticipated releases.

Only time will tell if the extreme hype will return, but at least those that really wanted a pair don’t have to pay crazy money for samples. Also, these won’t be the only Gucci-inspired Dunk Highs to be released this year, so stay tuned for further details.

The Nike SB Dunk High “Gucci” will be available towards the end of the year at selected Nike SB stockists across the region.
