What better way to celebrate getting an adidas SB account than to hit them up for a skate event? And that’s exactly what the Preduce guys did, a whole day of non-stop skating at The Ramp, Bangkok, that drew over 50 skaters to battle it out for cash and adidas prizes. 10 hours of continuous skating in all sorts of directions and areas, if you think it’s difficult trying to keep track of everything, try shooting and avoiding getting run over. Anyhow, props to the Preduce crew for pulling off everything smoothly.
Although the availability of adidas SB footwear and apparel is nothing new in the region, the dedicated accounts offer a more complete range that cater specifically towards skaters. Zone5 in Malaysia just got their adidas SB account as well and are awaiting their stock to arrive any time now - we hope adidas Malaysia has a similar event lined-up for our skaters sometime in the future.
The adidas SB footwear and apparel collection is available at Preduce Siam, 218/9 Siam Square Soi 1, Pathumwan, and Preduce Esplanade, G24 G Esplanade, Ratchada 99, Bangkok; and soon at Zone5, 50-89 & 50-90, Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur.

Since 2003, San Francisco-based STRANGEco has been a distributor of AMOS Toys in the North American market, and this new series of mini-figures marks the company’s first foray into producing James Jarvis’ designs. The King Ken character was originally released back in 2003 as a 12 inch vinyl figure, and became an instant hit with fans and has since seen numerous colour variants.
The new series takes King Ken down to four inches and throws him into the ubiquitous “mystery box” packaging. Fans can expect the five colourways pictured above, as well as a special surprise variant that will have collectors tearing through multiple packs. The King Ken Series 1 will be available at selected stockists worldwide this November.

To complement the recently released Lance Mountain Blazer from Nike SB, Flip Skateboards have produced a limited run of 500 matching boards. The decks feature a custom shape reminiscent of boards from early 80s, independent 139 trucks, custom made Rollo shape Flip wheels, as well as the same tangy orange colourway and striking Craig Stecyk skull graphic used on the kicks.
The board’s history actually dates back to the time when Mountain was riding for the Bone Brigrade skate crew, and Stecyk silk screened the skull design onto one of his decks. It is only now that the board has finally got a production run, with each one being individually numbered and sign by Mountain himself.
The Lance Mountain/Craig Stecyk skateboard is available from the Flip Skateboards webstore for USD150, email info@flipskateboards.com for international shipping quotes; The Nike Blazer SB is now available at
