Tom Sachs Japanese Tea Ceremony-inspired works have finally made it back to their country of inspiration. Opening at the Tokyo Opera City Art Gallery in Shinjuku, Tea Ceremony sees Sachs using his unique style to repurpose everyday items and materials into the world of the traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony. The show features works that have been exhibiting around the world since 2011 as well as all-new pieces and his upcoming collaboration Nike sandals.
Entrance fee is 1,400 Yen and the exhibition runs til June 23rd, 2019, if you can’t make it then here’s a closer look.
