For the first time, Japanese label @wtaps_tokyo has collaborated with @newbalance , using the Made in USA 992 model as their weapon of choice.
@tetsu_nishiyama aka TET of WTAPS deploys his signature military-inspired khaki and olives tones on the uppers as well as a hit of safety orange on the soles, which is a nod to the iconic MA-1 flight jacket’s inner-lining.
The finer details that might not be so obvious at first glance are the subtle references to the New Balance 998, which TET says is his favourite NB sneaker of all time.

From today onwards, the WTAPS x NB 992 will start releasing at select stockists worldwide. However, within Southeast Asia, they will be exclusively available at @doverstreetmarketsingapore and @surrenderstore with release dates TBC.
